Through Wu’s work with the Senate HELP Committee, she organized around labor and pension issues while holding numerous positions at the Committee including: Labor and Pensions Counsel, Chief Labor and Pensions Counsel, and Labor Policy Director/General Counsel. Her efforts to ensure that legislation accounts for the well-being of working women included the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act and the Healthy Families Act, which President Obama signed.
