Washington, DC - Today, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson was confirmed as the newest justice on the U.S. Supreme Court, making history as the first Black woman in this role. She will be sworn in this summer.

Her confirmation strengthens the progressive and women's voice on the court, which is critical when attacks to abortion access, worker protections, and civil rights are being contested across the nation.
