IAPALA's COVID-19 Community Fund

What is the IAPALA COVID-19 Community Fund?
This year has been a trying time for AAPI workers and families. Over 2 million AAPI workers are at the front lines fighting COVID-19, and on top of that, millions of workers are experiencing financial hardship due to the pandemic. That loss of income means that many workers are struggling to cover basic needs for their families, all while facing challenges that include anti-Asian racism in and out of the workplace. That’s why IAPALA is launching the COVID-19 Community Fund to help workers and their families with direct financial support.

In these difficult times, it is more important than ever to support our APALA/IAPALA family.
Many AAPI families are ineligible for other forms of government assistance due to immigration status or other barriers. We will prioritize serving families and workers who cannot access public assistance or other forms of financial support. This fund will be for APALA/IAPALA affiliated members, workers, and families. That means if you have taken action with us or have been part of our community, you may apply for yourself or someone you love.
