APALA Organizing Institute
July 26 - 28, 2019
Saint Paul, Minnesota

Are you curious about unions and how they can benefit workers like you? The Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance (APALA), Minnesota chapter and the AFL-CIO Organizing Institute are partnering together to hold a 3-Day training for AAPI workers in St. Paul, MN on July 26-28, 2019! This training focuses on teaching the fundamentals of union organizing, with specific attention to our communities' unique labor history, issues, and needs. Come hear from workers like you who have successfully organized at their jobs. Participants will learn one-on-one communication skills; how to identify, recruit and develop key workplace leaders to a campaign; and mapping and charting targeted workplaces on internal and external organizing campaigns.
