Our History Is Worth Preserving

Picture
Starting in 2024, APALA has been working to preserve our history by creating an archives which will be available online for researchers and APALA members.  The archives will contain historical documents from our founding, conventions and the many programs we have created in our history.  Our collection will expand as we receive contributions from the many people who have been a part of our history.  We thank NEA (National Education Association) for making a generous contribution to start our project, but we also look to our APALA family to help sustain this collection and digitize the many documents from our past.

We are setting the goal to raise $18,000 for the 18 Biennial Conventions APALA will have held by summer 2025.  Please join us in helping to preserve our amazing history!

Founded in 1992, the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance (APALA), AFL-CIO, is the first and only national organization of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) workers, most of whom are union members and our allies, building power for AANHPI workers and communities.
