Regular membership in APALA is open to any person who is a member in good standing with a Labor Union, or any Union Member who has retired in good standing. Regular members in good standing with APALA are eligible to participate in business meetings or to serve in any of its elected or appointed positions.

Associate membership in APALA is open to any person who supports the labor movement but does not meet the criteria of regular membership. Associate members are not eligible to participate in meetings or to serve in any of APALA's elected or appointed positions.

• $20 Regular/Associate ($25 Los Angeles)
• $10 Retiree/Student ($15 Los Angeles)
